The registration for the Conference is now CLOSED.


Important dates:

  • October 2018: Pre-announcement 

  • January  2019: Website opening

  • 11th February 2019: Opening of registration 

  • Call for contributing talks and posters:
    • 11th February 2019: Opening of Abstract submission
    • 1st June 2019: Oral contribution submission deadline
    • 15th June 2019: Announcement of the selected oral contributions
  • 20th June 2019: Deadline for standard registration and standard registration fee  
  • 15th July 2019: Deadline for LATE registration


Registration fee: 

The standard registration fee for the conference is 200€. It will be applied until 20th June 2019.

A late registration fee of 250€ will be applied from 21st June until 15th July 2019.  

For PhD students a reduced fee of 50€ applies. 

The registration fee includes the Morning and Afternoon coffee breaks from Monday to Friday.

The payment should be made online by Credit Card.


Possibilities of financial support

Financial support to attend the conference is available for a few young scientists.

This will cover the registration fee and the hotel accommodation (and not the travel expenses).

The decision on the financing will be communicated by 20th June.

Abstract submission:

In order to submit an abstract for an oral contribution or a poster, you should go to "MY SPACE/My submissions" (top right menu) and just click on "Submit an Abstract".

You have the possibility of uploading supplementary files in .jpeg or .pdf format . Files in encapsulated postscript (.eps) format are not accepted.  



Conference Schedule:

The whole event will take place from 2nd to 6th  September in the Palais des Papes in Avignon 

  • Monday 2nd September:
    • 10:00 - 12:00: Registration in the Salle des Gardes
    • 13:00 - 13:30: Welcome Coffee and Registration in the Salle des Gardes
    • 13:30: Opening session in the Chambre du Tresorier
  • 3rd - 5th September:
    • Registration will be possible from 08:00 to 09:00 during the conference.
    • Session hours:  09:00 – 12:00 and 14:00 – 17:00

  • Friday 6th September:
    • 13:00: End of the Conference

Conference sessions will take place in the Chambre du Tresorier.  


Conference Facilities: 

A video projector will be available for the presentations. 

Internet access with wifi will be available in the different rooms of the conference. 




Posters will be displayed in the Salle des Gardes. As shown in the Program, one to two Poster sessions of 1hr will be organized  every day. The maximum size of the posters is A0 (841mm x 1189mm) Portrait.

Both hotels are at walking distance from the Palais des Papes. They are shown with red markers in the map below. 

Please note that  hotel reservations have to be made by the participants directly through the dedicated hotel websites. 

We have been informed of scam calls to conference participants. The caller pretend  to be from an agency to assist in booking accommodation. Please be mindful of such calls.

(The cost of these activities should be paid at the same time as the registration fee)
